Raindrop keep falling........

Realized how challenging it is to make a 1:1 macro shot of water falling off a swaying mango leaf. This shot was made with a 100mm USM Macro, YN-465 tripod, remote trigger and water spray.

Deer of Nagarhole

Here are three interesting shots of an often shot subject.

White Wagtail

The White Wagtail  is a small passerine bird. The bird is has a wide habitat in much of Europe and Asia and parts of north Africa. It has a toehold in Alaska as a scarce breeder. It is an insectivorous bird of open country, often near habitation and water. It prefers bare areas for feeding, where it can see and pursue its prey. Also found in urban areas it has adapted to foraging on paved areas such as car parks. It nests in crevices in stone walls and similar natural and man-made structures. The White Wagtail is the national bird of Latvia.

This bird was shot at the Nagarhole Wildlife Park.

Malabar Giant Squirrel

Also known as the Indian Giant Squirrel has a conspicuous two-toned body. There is a distinctive white spot between the ears. This is a prey of the Crested Serpent Eagle and its predator was lurking nearby. The foliage was dense the prey.
